DEAR BROCKLEY was a community-engaged postcard project, celebrating the women of Brockley for International Women’s Day 2021.

FABRIQ invited the community to create an artwork on the theme of WOMAN, to be printed on the front of a postcard. All 44 submissions were exhibited at the Lewisham Arthouse but 10 winners were printed and distributed to 2000 households in Brockley, with a personal letter from the artist on the back!

Postcards were also for sale, with all profits donated to The Marsha Phoenix Memorial Trust a housing project supporting homeless young women, and to Brockley Max, a community arts festival celebrating local talent.
